    restoring hotkeys on sony laptop

    I completely removed the original sony os and put in my own winXp software. Now I cannot use my hotkeys ie. volume controls, brightness of the screen. ie. (Fn+F4 or Fn + F5)...anyone know how to get the hot keys to work again? thanks

    original unedited...slightly sharpened this next one is high/shad filter applied with the default settings ie. at 50% doesn't it look flat...can you fix it and let me know what you did?...to the original image of course

    erik, thats quite a explanation...the reason i ask this is because i would like to know what the results of the image before i print...is that possible using one of the buttons say actual pixels or print size button?

    in photoshop there are the actual pixels and the print size buttons when you hit the little hand... i'm not sure what is the diff?...is the print size button the actual what i will see when it gets printed?...if so, then what is the actual pixels button...i know that is viewing at 100%...

    anyone know can give me a action to convert color images to black or sepia?... i know you can use channel mixer but i can't seem to get it right...i guess i don't know much about color thanks

    photoshop cs slow

    is it me or others think the same...???....any suggestion to make it run faster?...photoshop 7.0 was fine..but not cs my specs...winXP home, 2.4 ghz cpu, 1 gig ram, 20 gig harddrive, ati7500 video card... thanks

    i usually have more steps then that ie...more filters...layers..etc...but you get the picture right?

    here is an example: 1. open a new image 2. create new action set 3. create new action record 4. rezize image 5. image adjust autolevel 6.filter...unsharp mask 7. file save as 8. stop recording

    i do series of steps and record the action....then i open a new image...play the action...a error message "the command make is currently not available"..or other steps of the action...not available.... what am i doing wrong...cannot run the action help please thanks
