    That actually means that you expect the owner of this board to go through all the thousands of threads all the time (by hand or with software) to make sure that visitors like you never see any dead links. Not very realistic in my view. :\

    Need to add some Patterns to the Preset Manager....

    Richard, you first have to open the file as any other file (file/open), select the complete image and make a pattern of it. If it returns with a message when you try to open your file in the first step, then Photoshop doesn't recognize it for some reason or considers it corrupt. Try to save it...

    Layer mask issue...

    Activate layer with drawing, Ctrl + A (select all), Ctrl+C (copy), activate layer that needs mask, add mask, ALT + click on mask thumbnail to show the mask in your document windows, CTRL + V (paste).

    I use Sygate Firewall and it blocks every infected Jpeg, I don't even need a virus scanner for this ;)
