    Hi Tom I wouldn't think anything bigger than a 10 x 8. As for the negatives, this had not even crossed my mind but I guess if this was an affordable option I would like to also do negatives. cheers P66

    Hi I'm looking in to buying a quality scanner to scan old photographs so I am able to repair and re-touch them. I operate a mac and my budget could push to around £350. Can anyone direct me or advise me on a scanner that would suit my needs even if it goes outside my budget I would consider it...

    Newbie with many questions.

    Hi Sam and thanks. The picture of the baby is my uncle and when I showed him it he said its ok but all the colours were incorrect, the sofa was brown, the baby's bib was cream with blue piping and his t shirt was white, oh and he has green eyes :), but when I changed it he liked it I guess...

    Hi Tom thank you for the compliment, no I have never used or studied photoshop software before. I do enjoy photography until I sold my gear recently to help with the house move :( I an in fact an aircraft engineer but have a reasonable eye for arty things, but I also think what makes it easier...
