census data and batch export to file with each layer sent to a canvas of that size.

Re: census data and batch export to file with each layer sent to a canvas of that siz I am sure sir. I surely asked. In a way though I need the photo element because it is what picasa wants to fix to a geographic location. I am probably whipping a dead horse here, but I learn visually, and it...

census data and batch export to file with each layer sent to a canvas of that size.

Re: census data and batch export to file with each layer sent to a canvas of that siz Ummmmmmm.......because I am stoopid? I will explore that option. Here is a link to a picasaweb album I did earlier as a test. The end goal is to fix a set of historical events into a spatial context. I will...

Re: census data and batch export to file with each layer sent to a canvas of that siz No sir. I have to extract a piece of many screenshots and combine them to a single image for an address. There are usually multiple forms for a single address. I am using a nineteenth century overlay in google...

census data and batch export to file with each layer sent to a canvas of that size.

Re: census data and batch export to file with each layer sent to a canvas of that siz I am using CS4. My dialog box is different and allows me to assign a prefix but does not offer the option of using layer name.

Re: census data and batch export to file with each layer sent to a canvas of that siz No Tom this is an unrelated issue. The advice given then was spot on and the maps were tedious but did work. Sadly the data is incomplete owing to the Public Record office being bombed in WWII. This is why I...

census data and batch export to file with each layer sent to a canvas of that size.

It has been a while since I was here last asking for help on map alterations. I have a new problem. I have collected many (over 100k) screeenshots of census data. In the interest of not using the actual captures (intelectual property restrictions), I have extracted the data alone to a new multi...

hello kids, I can conceive more than I can execute!

Thanks again for the help. I fear my scans are not very good for the task, but they are what I have for now. For now I have radically shrunk the areas of interest while I find a systemic method for going about this. The image adjustments are promising, and I am trying to find a balance of...

hello kids, I can conceive more than I can execute!

Thank You! I have 16 such images to do. I really need any shortcut I can get, as i would not live long enough to do it all the way I had tried ( a small brush). Many thanks to you sir!

hello kids, I can conceive more than I can execute!

Yes sir. I need to isolate spaces by type. All of the little backyards will have to be isolated and color coded as well. I know it is ambitous, but I have time and patience I will learn.

I forgot to mention the shading, if it could be group identified, would allow me to isolated enclosed spaces. The white area will have to be done individually based on pedestrian traffic flow. Dave
