    sounds like im starting to understand what is going on.... my current settings are - my sony camera is set to srgb - my photoshop working space was set to adobeRGB So to correct this issue i would set my working space to sRGB IEC61966-2.1?

    Hey everyone, Just got a new monitor and cannot figure out why my colors are off when i upload it to the web... When i export > save for web > the image preview shows more red color but when i upload it to the web its the opposite far less rose....

    yeah basically the web developers made a fixed background which i can drag and drop the images into. The noise in the picture really bugs me. i already did the reduce noise on photoshop but i feel like it still has alot.

    for some reason if you look at my layers they differ from yours... I did your steps the same way you wrote to maybe there was some steps you left behind before the "Go to channels and duplicate the red channel."?

    btw the layers have always confused me, like i see in your picture you have a layer made. and i did your steps now without making the layer i think it looks the same. my question is whats the point of making the layer to begin with?

    yeah lol i meant the lasso tool. basically this is what i do... i go around the dial with the lasso tool till its fully around the dial > then i go to IMAGE>ADJUSTMENTS>LEVELS> and then you selected the red from the "channel:" correct?
