    Thanks Sam. I am going to pay more attention to the 'checking/unchecking'. As stated, it may be due to double clicking by an older pen with poor pressure control that I have since replaced. Cheers.

    Has anyone found a way within Photoshop preferences (if checked? or unchecked?), will stop the Clone Stamp Tool from switching from not aligned to aligned sources until it is desired? Even when all of the latest updates, it still switches back and forth unannounced. Appreciated.
