    How did you restore photo?

Well, thank you @vpk. I am tempted to give you my wife's email address so you can tell her too, but I am pretty sure that might be counterproductive :roflmao:

You’re welcome @vpk I am retired and also just a hobbyist doing restoration for myself (eg genealogy) and blast from the past images of friends and relatives on their birthdays.

    Detailed Printer Options disappeared

Hi @scrimshanker One real possibility is that when reloading photoshop is that the Print Driver may have defaulted back to the MacOS printer driver name Air Print. You can check this out in the Printer and Scanner section of system settings. As an example, here is what I have on mine and I...

    How did you restore photo?

You're welcome @vpk I used just the tools in Photoshop and Topaz Photo AI. In Photoshop, the primary work was done inside the Camera Raw Filter, and some use was made of the Neural Filter to remove JPEG compression artifacts and initiate colorization. Topaz Photo AI was not as helpful as I had...

How to select the top layer with keyboard shortcut?

I posted this before, yet here are all the Layer Shortcut commands that I could find and I also documented the conditions of when and how they work. These are written for the Mac, but to make it work with Windows, simply use CTRL instead of CMD and ALT instead of OPT. I do not have a Windows...

    Dragon behind doorway

Love it! Thanks for sharing. Since you asked for CC (some repeat from IamSam), with the dragon being in a hallway behind that main wall, I would have preferred not to have transparency to the far wall in the hallway in some parts of the dragon. Going with the assumption of the dragon in the...

Interesting video on AI as a reliable source on the internet.

I found it very worthwhile and watched the entire video. It became very clear why AI bots will end up eating themselves on the present path so something will have to give. Not clear its going to change though to be sustainable. John Wheeler

    Specific Edit out armpit stains

Here is my try for the first image, just lightening your armpits. The second image, in addition, removes some haze. John Wheeler

Specific Memorial picture of my late father

You're more than welcome @Benji235. Very sorry for your loss. It occurred to me that your initial image was quite the treasure as well. I included that below with the hair tuft removed. John Wheeler

Specific Memorial picture of my late father

Here is my try. I centered on the curtains, which are not exactly the center of the picture. Please let me know if you'd like a change. The first image is with leaving the hair tuft and the second is with the hair tuft removed John Wheeler

Specific Cut out extremely intricate objects in an image

The artifacts are compression artifacts. This image was at some prior history a JPEG image with some decent compression as the underlying artifacts are blocked in 16x16 bit blocks. It was then at some point saved as a PNG yet that does not remove those artifacts. I have taken a screen shot of...

    Image size

Hi @Shepherdboy I am not sure I will describe this well, yet when pasting an image into an existing image in PS, the pixels are preserved as is (no scaling), and the size of the image being pasted adopts the pixels per inch of the image into which you are pasting. Example If you image in PS...

Specific Light Picture could use some color

This version was to retain the look in your original picture. It made it a bit difficult since you had already adjusted part of the picture (e.g., face restoration), yetI gave it a shot John Wheeler
