    daboo, out of curiosity, why is this picture so important? as has been pointed out, there's hardly any info in the pic to be manipulated... surely inserting an existing, clean pic of the proprietor would be the easiest, and possibly the only, solution

    in general, i move this slider to the left, this one to the right, add a few points to the colour curves, then tweak this other slider, then add this filter, then the other one and hey presto, there you have it. works every time...

    i've created crumpled paper backgrounds by simply shooting crumpled pieces of paper. i'm sure there's ps ways of doing it, but hey, i bet they're no way as quick ;-)
