    Island Tower

Its a great image and i like it especially with the sun rays, but it's probably just me and the way I'm looking at , but the perspective between the tower and the rock seem off, the tower appears to be leaning back, But the overall image seems as though your looking right at the beach and rock...

    Goth Girl

I agree with you on the look of being lifeless in some cases, The model i used was an older version, they have a relay good just out model now of both man and women that is relay realistic including skin textures, the morphing that also comes with the new models allows more control over the...

    Goth Girl

Thanks All... Yes this is a combination of 3d taken in to Photoshop and finished off with some cobwebs, smoke, dodging and burning, darkening and brightening some areas , and then changing colors and some filters added as well as a bit of extra painting on the hair. I was thinking of doing...

I'm new, so hows my work?

Like that very much.... if I had to say something about it , the only thing I would say is that the white light to left of the middle of the eye is not in the same curvature as the others that are in a circle. But Again a great image.

    3D 3D TubeWorld spacecraft

I'm trying to incorporate 3d into my art work as well, I did find however that Photoshop is very frustrating with its 3d capabilities, that's why i use other software to do the 3d, i might try Photoshop again soon but at the minute using another software that i am learning fairly quickly. I like...

    playing around with 3d

Thanks dv8_fx, used the new genersis 3 figure, mess up the lighting, I used the dreamlight ldpr render for it , then used one of the actions in that render, I agree it is not right at all, Chuck it away and did another one, i used plane primitives with emissive shaders. This image is only a...

    playing around with 3d

    Isolating and copying Text Letters

I'm no restorer of images, but if i were to even attempt it i would probably try using levels to get the dark areas out more, or even use the channels to see if i could do something there.

Correct Proportions and Prespective in a simple composite photo?

Unless the model in the image is facing an open door or window, that is facing her, then she is the wrong one to choose to go into your composite as she looks very wind swept , agree too with both IamSam and the Kepper about the lighting issues. even the room looks lit well enough not to have...

Where to start? How can i learn to get this good?!

Totally agree IamSam, Personally i would not spend that kind of money as a beginner not knowing if I was going to pursue it further after deciding whether or not I could get the hang of it, or hang the gloves up not taking it further and having spent that kind of money,

    Stripes for a logo

Don't use illustrator much but if i were doing this in Photoshop then create a layer with a black fill/background, use the pen tool to create the shape and curve, then fill with a gradient layer

Where to start? How can i learn to get this good?!

From what i could see of the images in the link you provided they are 3d figures, props and sets. and then some possible post work in whatever software was used. To start .... if you have no money or very little i would recd you start looking at a 3d program/software called Blender... its free...
