    I used a white background the mask is made from a selection of the seat and is Always the same for all patterns

    the smart object is just the pattern (but rotated ) the lines and the seems are in the white seat and will stay on place you can make another smart object with the sides masked to give that part another look with another pattern or color here is a second mockup you make the sides - layers...

    maybe like this I started to make the Original black&white and darkend almost all colors to make more contrast with the hair and darkened the shadows even more with burn-tool and then placed the hair on top of the image with mode on 'lighten'

    you could make the text invissible and then make new text or make the new tekst somewhere else in the image and move it afterwards
