Help - I can't open any of my old images with Adobe's new CC

Are you clicking on the Jpg's and getting an error message from Photoshop or does clicking on a Jpg just open it in another program? Try a right click on the image and "Open With" Photoshop. If they open in another program, and "Open With" works, just change your preferences in Windows. If...

    Robert DeNiro

Constructive criticism is always welcome. @agentmoeller's been a member here for 4 years and his work speaks for itself. I agree with his comments and frustration. But let's not allow off topic discussion to distract us from AM's fine work. Speak of the image and his handiwork, guys....

    male head model post processed

Hi Zee. I don't know anything about 3D modeling so I don't know how to critique something like this, so let me ask you a question. What's your ultimate goal with this piece of work? Are you shooting for photo realistic?

    missing the "apply" box

I'm glad you worked it out. Resetting your preferences file isn't all that scary actually and it fixes a lot of problems. All it does is reset all preferences back to factory default. In my case keyboard shortcut R used to get you to Blur, Sharpen and Smudge tools. In CS6 it gets you to Rotate...

    missing the "apply" box

Try resetting the preferences file. It cures a lot of strange behavior in PS. Start Photoshop and immediately hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS X). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
