    Now that some comments and opinions on this have been aired can we get back to Brian's subject, "Bad Retouching" I find it amazing the amount images out there that make me say to my self "What were they thinking?" There are sites like "Photoshop Disasters" dedicated to the subject.

    What version of PS do you have? Newer versions automatically save recovery information every ## minute. You would need to check your settings to see if your version does and where the recovery folder is.
