    Restoring clothing in old photo

No scares...just facts "restoration" is just that...restore to original status. That said your point is also valid, but what you are doing is a repair and update...We should all use the same terms

    Restoring clothing in old photo

This one would take me a couple of hours of close detail work, using the healing brush, and the patch tool, a bit of painting in the missing details / cloning. I worked off your 2 nd image...

    Restoring clothing in old photo

In a restoration , changing things is verboten....nada....cannot do that. I would start with a levels adjustment, working to get the blacks, greys, and whites balanced...Using spot healing, patch, and clone tools you will get better results. Also in B/W images, by going into the "RGB'...

Need help find background for advertice my old car.

With that image and a google background, easy to do...I did use a mask for the hues on the window green background...very quick / sloppy....This is simple masking, move , drop, and a bit of transform to get things looking correct

Cloud in the sky want selection and insert color emphasis

All I did was play with what layers you have and changed the blending and opacity, didn't save my psd, just flattened the final w/o saving changes....I think Chris has the best so far, not surprising as his work is always inspiring!

Cloud in the sky want selection and insert color emphasis

I took what you had, played with blending, and opacity....and got lots of different looks, depending what cloud layer(s) I used and what blend mode I used. By blending to soft light, and dropping opacity I retained the existing cloud texture, You could add some with a brush as Larry...

I'm tearing my hair trying to figure out how to select one of these bottles.

Duplicate the layer and mask (control J ) then click on the duplicate mask and paint black or white with your hard brush

Filling a shape with a existing picture or pattern

Need help find background for advertice my old car.

Or shoot your car on a plain uncluttered background, if you know what depth of field is, open up your lens wide, focus tight...then your masking skills will work magic

Any ideas on how to make these effects?

IF you have the original RAW files still you can open them into photoshop using "Bridge" (part of PS) You can save a psd file in any of the choices given you by adobe..You may need to flatten and discard layers depending on your pick. Save the psd, then open that and flatten, do what you need to...

    I'm in love

Well folks I'm in love with Stella, and looks like she caught your eyes also. I love ALL the interpretations here, as what I like is fine, BUT as Larry pointed out, what the paying client likes is the bottom line. Clare I like your eyes here, I tend to go with the good old "high...
