Specific Haze Removal Remove glare on eye Color Correct Goldfinch

John, it was only as a guide for the photographer to throw the emphasis onto the bird. I use all types of colour spaces but this was saved as an exported image for the web to keep size down. It would have saved as sRGB.

Specific Haze Removal Remove glare on eye Color Correct Goldfinch

Thanks for the reply. I use a calibrated IPS panel and the desaturation was basically an idea to make the bird stand out a bit more. I didn't desaturate the bird, only the background. It's all subjective and was only meant to provoke thought for the photographer.

Specific Haze Removal Remove glare on eye Color Correct Goldfinch

It appears to be very saturated, so I used a Hue/Sat mask to lower the background saturation and slightly darkened it to highlight the bird. Then I lifted the shadows. I used Colormancer to reduce the noise. Added a little sharpening and I repainted the eye with a small catch-light. I repaired a...

Maybe you visited The Museum of Modern Art, known as 'MoMA,' located in New York City.

    Specific Add a background

Only my own opinion but perhaps change the back glow on the subject from red to either black or blue to match the new background? What do you think?

    Specific Face edit

My try, I hope it's OK. Added some detail to the hair and airbrushed the skin. I also did some others.

This is looking at camera. I didn't alter the background but easy to do if you want.

    Action help

Hi Guys and Gals, I'm having difficulty with a simple action I'd like help with if it can be done. I have an action that just creates a new blank layer, resets swatches to black and white and then grabs a brush that I created and places it as a watermark in the corner of an image. My problem is...

    Combining Styles

Cheers John. I discovered that I can duplicate the layer and apply 2 different style presets, then drag individual effects from one layer to the other - it works great, so all is good for what I wanted to do for a client. Many thanks.

    Combining Styles

These are screenshots of my workspace. I have a BG layer and a single TEXT layer, which is selected. I have the STYLES window panel displayed. I click on the "Double Green Slime" style and it applies the style to the text layer. It contains 3 effects 1. Bevel & Emboss 2. Stroke 3. Gradient...

    Combining Styles

Thanks Sam, I'm using CC2020 June update. Yes I'm trying to combine the Style presets as above. By holding SHIFT and clicking on a Style Preset, it just puts a highlight around the selected style.

    Combining Styles

I'd like some help if possible on how to combine 2 or more style on a layer. In CS5 if you applied a style to a layer (eg: a TEXT layer), you could add another style by holding "Shift" and clicking on the style you wanted. This would combine the two styles with the latter overriding the existing...

    Specific Torn paper effect collage

You're welcome. All the layers are masked so easy to change the angle of the torn parts.

Collapsing Layer Effects in an Action

Thanks for the reply @hawkeye. I do use Layer Comps occasionally but that's not my issue. In my Watermarking action, I am looking for a way to be able to hide layer effects in the panel, within the action commands as below ... ... to end up looking just like a normal layer as below.
