Collapsing Layer Effects in an Action

Hi all. does anyone know if it's possible to collapse Layer Effects in an Action?
Look forward to seeing if this can happen. Cheers

Thanks for the reply @hawkeye. I do use Layer Comps occasionally but that's not my issue.
In my Watermarking action, I am looking for a way to be able to hide layer effects in the panel, within the action commands as below ...

... to end up looking just like a normal layer as below.
