    Very small image to work with and had to horizontal flip the face to match the light and shadows. You only said face so I didn't do the hair.

    This effect is used for "Fading" when writing websites. It's achieved mainly by adding a Color Fill layer and setting the color to #808080 (mid grey)

    I tried as well. General brightening. removed harshness of the shadow around the right side of the face and jaw. Removed a lot of flash remnants from the face as well as adjusted the eyes to be looking at the camera.

When you have cloned out the things that the OP asked for, it has left obvious duplicated cloning effects...
