Hi, Guru's after a long time, am here again. See am trying to replicate a small image effect. I think am almost reached in there. Am posting the source file of my effort also along with the one am trying to replicate. Please guide me.

This effect is used for "Fading" when writing websites. It's achieved mainly by adding a Color Fill layer and setting the color to #808080 (mid grey)

Thank you I used rectangle path over the image with color and changed the blend mode to overlay and played with the opacity and fill

Thanks @balavalli There are probably a few ways to get the same effect, as long as you're happy with your results. Cheers.

Solid color fill's sufficient to achive this ? Need to change the blend modes ??

Solid colour, mid grey and set to Multiply mode is easiest to achieve the effect. But you can experiment with different colours and modes to get what you need.
