Need someone to tell me how this person did this effect?

It seems like you want to do this a quick as possible.... the attached took less than 10 seconds... Open File / New Levels Adjustment Layer / Move sliders - done! Doesn't look as good as you would get with any ideas above but quick and dirty it is.

Need someone to tell me how this person did this effect?

Hi Wombat, Do you have AI? If so it should be easy enough to ink over your original image using a combination of the blob brush for sweeping strokes and the pen tool for the large areas. You will then have a piece of Vector artwork that can be re-sized as necessary without any loss in...

Product Image touch up - would love your thoughts and suggestions:)

Thanks Hari - any chance you could elaborate a little, I'm not sure what your suggesting and how it will help? I really want to make these images as good as possible so if you (or anyone else for that matter) could let me know that would be wonderful. Many Thanks in advance \webwize

Hi everyone, I would love your thoughts on the before and after images below, brief was to remove all shadows etc and place on a pure white background. I'm no expert in retouching jewellery and any insights you could give me would really help. =CONFIG]10563[/ATTACH] Would also be...

    Need your criticism urgently.

Hi Hooligan I'm the first to admit my knowledge is limited but I much prefer the first one, if I was to make any comment it would be that the "bright colours" on the back ground jumps look a little out of place with the rest of the image, toning these down would help "pop" the foreground a...

Can someone help me do this:)

Hi I had a quick play and came up with this, with some more time it could be improved quite a bit but you at least get the idea. Pretty much ignored the tutorial you sent the link to and simply selected the areas you would be "cutting out" of the pumpkin, saved these as a selection and then...

Complex Selection - Help on best selection method to drop out a background

Hi Again I thought I would post a couple of images that I have been able to retouch using the advice I was given above... Added the extra step of adjusting them in Lightroom first. I have had really great results so very happy, only problem now is reducing the time it takes to process each...

Thanks Hoogleman, Your efforts are much better than I managed, will try following along with your suggestion and also have a look at after affects... looks like I'm not going to find a "big" shortcut so better get my head down... Really appreciate you helping me out, first time on this...

Complex Selection - Help on best selection method to drop out a background

Hi, I would be forever grateful if someone could give me some suggestions on how to "drop out" the background from this photo (I have loads to do which are very similar). Thus far I have tried channel selections and the calculations tool + all the normal quick selection tools and I just cant...
