I don't understand what you're asking. Is this a static image you're talking about, or something that moves and interacts?

How to Trace an Icon Image & Color Strokes

Well, CTRL-U for hue and saturation, and slide the saturation slider all the way to the bottom. Then pen tool and trace, I guess. I don't think Photoshop has an auto-trace function. The best tracing tool I've ever used was built into Adobe's Flash.

Welcome. I've got 27 days left on my CS5 trial. After which, I shall cry huge wet tears.

    Hello from Belgium!

Hello, Belgium. From the chilly South of England. I've just arrived on this forum myself, looking to hone my Photoshop skills. For digital illustration, there are some other excellent sites you should check as well -- conceptart.org being my favorite (hope it's okay to point to other forums).

    help extracting

Oh, man, Carl. I don't see an easy way to do that. I hope your Missus appreciates the work. If you're going to print them out one by one and cut them up, though, there just isn't an easy way to do that that I can see.

Wow -- that's a cool idea! But 'layer 122'? Ow! Don't overwrite this image! I think what I'd do is Select All and Copy Merged and then paste it into a new image (or a new layer). Now you've got all the Polaroids together on a single layer and you should be able to do what you want. You'll...

I want to move the Texture of a Cherry to this symbol. Help if you can.

Ugh. Mine looks like some kind of horrible sweaty Satanic bodypart. Still, I had fun playing with CS5.

Anybody have a favorite CS5 demo?

Clone stamp has been there from the beginning, but the new version previews what it'll look like before you commit. Freaked me out a little at first...I thought I was cloning all over the place when I didn't want to be. You know, that's a HUGE beef I have with Adobe, Steve. I believe one of the...

    water effect

If you're looking for something interactive, you're WAY out of my league. But if you just want the effect of a reflection, make a copy of the object you want to be reflected, flip the copy upside down and place it below the original object and fade it out toward the bottom. More detail can be...

I want to move the Texture of a Cherry to this symbol. Help if you can.

Or if you just want it shiny and red, you could do a really deep emboss and manually put some sweet highlights on it.

Anybody have a favorite CS5 demo?

Yes, I've been playing around with it. You definitely need to touch it up by hand, but it's still VERY slick. It would save me a huge amount of time.

Anybody have a favorite CS5 demo?

Oh, that was cool. Thanks, Steve. I just discovered rotate by accident. Whoa, that's going to be helpful.

Anybody have a favorite CS5 demo?

Okay, I've downloaded the evaluation copy of CS5. I've got thirty days to work out what I think of it. Anybody know of a good "what's so great about CS5" demo? Just looking for an overview and new features kind of thing -- from Adobe or anyone else.

How to make this effect for text

On my monitor, the type is pure white. The back is a gradation between light gray and medium gray. The very outer bit is solid gray, but it looks graded because the inner fill is graded. Not sure I understand what you're asking.
