    Transparent Problem

it's a little difficult to say without seeing it, but you might try saving it as a ".png" (portable networks graphic) file. PNG's also support transparency, and I've never had any trouble with them in the past.

    Remove flash reflection from glass

that's a bit of a difficult pic to work with, just because of where the flash is. I had to try to recreate some lost data from that one gentleman's head, so I'm not particularly happy with it, but here:

Block Shadows, surely it cant be that difficult!!?

As far as I know, you're just going to have to do that by hand. I'd recommend starting with a drop shadow then using the pen tool on paths to fill in the extra space. I just tested it and got this (first attempt), so if you try hard enough you should be able to get just what you're looking for.

that line is the white background, meaning that the rectangles aren't touching. on the layer with the bottom rectangle, select the move tool and press the up arrow on your keyboard once.

DPI - PPI (Project for WOrk)

It is normal for it to look like your picture blew up, your monitor is displaying pixels, and by increasing dpi you increased the number of pixels in your image, therefore with more pixels it'll take up more space on your screen. It is still 9x6 though (you can prove this by putting your rulers...

    Please Help!!! I AM DESPERATE!!!

I think you'll find: 'edit->transform->perspective' to be helpful here. You'll just need to play with it to get it exactly like you want.

    Newbie Question about Textures

I just found this site with a quick search, it looks promising: FREE TEXTURES for digital artists: 2Textured - Home In general though, I normally just do a search either for the specific texture I'm looking for (ie searching "hi res grass texture") or just searching generically (ie searching...

Can this photo be fixed ?

The answer to your question is, yes it can be fixed. Just not particularly easily. I've never touched photoshop 7, so I don't even know where to begin with giving you directions. I can however offer you this, if you want to take the easy way out: It's mostly just copious amounts of...

    Identifying a 'chopped' image

The lighting and skin tone seem off in the second (third?) picture. In the first one, I see what you're talking about, and it does look odd, but there is a chance that that is natural still.

    How do I do this?

Alright, you're missing a step there. We need to fill the new layer that we made (layer 1 in your case) with solid black. The easiest way to do that would be with the bucket fill tool. select the bucket fill tool (it looks like a paint bucket that is tipping slightly) make sure your color is on...

    How do I do this?

Sorry about that, sometimes I get carried away. Hopefully I'll be a bit more helpful this time. You're using the elliptical marquee tool to select the area that you want to get rid of, basically the part of the image that you don't want totally black. Once you have your ellipse drawn go to...

    Identifying a 'chopped' image

I know a few things you could look for, but I'm nowhere near an expert, so there may be more. I threw together some obvious examples, spotting them in your images could be quite a bit more difficult. Difference in resolution (my poorly made example) notice the leaf in the bottom right isn't...

    How do I do this?

new layer bucket fill black elliptical marquee tool* cut* blur->Gaussian blur (about 45, but depends on the pic) *these steps can be replaced with the eraser tool, but you'll get a smoother circle with the marquee

how can i make a picture into a pixelated tile?

Not sure exactly what you're looking for because I've never used mario paint. I got a blocky/pixelated image pretty easily like this. 1) image->adjustments->posterize (slider: 10) 2) filter->texture->patchwork (sliders: adjust to taste, I used 9, and 8) optional step: 3)...
