    Thanks for the link to your photos, Hatch. Your surfer pictures are amazing! Especially the one on the first page with all the foam! WOW! Must be nice to be multi-talented! :}

    fuzzy/blurry pictures

    Might be a couple of things... Are you shooting indoors or low light? Some digital cameras need to be put in manual mode to compensate for low lighting. I'm no photo guru, but my husband is the photographer and I know he can run his camera fine, but put it in my hands and I can take a...

    Dragon Boat Races

    Hatch, these are good! I hang out at a photography forum and I saw some similar images. These are so clear! The other photographer was saying it was raining very hard which can wreak havoc on focusing. Took me a second to realize these weren't from the same forum. :bustagut: What...

    Dang, I knew it couldn't be that easy. :P I've never played with any PS version earlier than 7, so I forget things may have changed. 8}

    Installing/using new brushes, returning to default

    Is this what you mean? Grab them from wherever you saved them with this menu in *load brushes*. When you are done and want to go back to the default brushes, just click on the *reset brushes*. Make sense? I explain things much better with pictures. [confused]

    My dogs L and P have bebies!

    Congrats! Cute doggies. I just love dogs.. and cats and any animal that likes to love me back. :bustagut: We bred our dog once so we could keep the line going, it was hard on me to sell them! I wanted to keep them all!! We ended up keeping 2 instead of 1. I can understand your...

    OverSharp Mask

    On the lower rez images, I would play with the slider on the Amount before playing with the Radius. I just opened a low rez image to see and I had the Amount slider pulled all the way down to 176% before it started looking right. I always refer to the window in the unsharp mask rather than...

    OverSharp Mask

    Hi richard, I do a lot of work on photographs and I'm not saying this is the right way or the best way but it's definitely what I use 99% of the time. I use the unsharp Mask at these settings: Amount: 500% Radius: 0.2 pixels Threshold: 0 levels Sometimes I will run it on it twice...

    Sorry for the triple post folx. 8} Hope that's big enough to view. I couldn't find a happy medium, kept telling me it was too big. that's what I get for trying to think at 2:30ish a.m. :bustagut: Here is a link to a larger view http://www.imgmag.org/images/sasheba/PSG2.jpg

    quick and simple photo enhancing (3 techniques).

    It worked well on this picture because it has a shallow depth of field. This was a quicky but gives you an idea of what you can do!

    quick and simple photo enhancing (3 techniques).

    Neat Image has a free demo version. It doesn't expire, you just don't get some of the whistles and bells of the paid version, like you can only save them as jpgs and not tiffs... etc. it is the best program I have found so far that's free. Here's another trick I've used for selective...
