    yeah pretty much, make it as easy as possible to edit with maximum output. Best way I find when figuring out a top seller, is to buy a file from a top author and see how they've done it, sort of an investment

    Well you see your files must be made so they are as 'usable' as possible. My flyers could be so much more arty and impacting, however i have to make them so they can be used and altered to the maximum possibility, therefore giving me as large a customer base as possible.

    it is for a range of things. if you were to create youtube intros, you'd simply upload the template file so the end user could change all the text themselves etc - if you get 1000 sales in a week, that is much better than getting 1000 clients as you wouldn't be able to work for them all.

    Mate if you're gunna do a Christmas themed project, get is on Graphicriver quick ;-) Take this little tip from me mate, people are now starting to buy their Christmas design templates, My Winter/Christmas Flyer has had about 7 or 8 purchases this week alone... :P

    @Hoogleman, I agree with you 100% - which is why i don't ask my customers to opt in to any mailing list etc, but this is RE flyerheroes - I'm not selling anything, simply letting you know there is more free stuff :)

    Help with 300dpi

    you're screwed bro. No matter what the work you're doing, as a designer your default canvas dpi should be 300, just in case your client decides they want to print. Either that or design in Ai. It's a shame, but sorry pal there is not much you can do :(

    @SeniorS , you are correct in saying the best option is to use Pen tool :) But, the anti-aliasing must be selected, or it will not be smooth :)

    Sorry, but Davin Salo is incorrect. The Pen tool wil ALWAYS give you a perfect edge. When you "Right Click ›› Make Selection", you need to check the box that says 'Anti-aliased' - this will give you a perfect edge.
