    How to make a flyer?

Just one thing .... if you want really good print quality, keep the document res within 200 - 300 ppi. And agree with $1r_M4x1mu$ - you won't need anything else than Photoshop. Besides pixel images and text you can also import vector graphics ( AI, EPS etc ) and use them if you want. No prob !!

    Bottom of the ladder

Hope you don't think I'm a pain in the ... behind-thing. It's just that I'm trained to notice detail as a retoucher and just try to help in your progress since you seem to have decided to go for "next level". I'm not sure the texture does anything for the image - other than make it look like...

    Bottom of the ladder

Nice one, Belial ! Female Storm Troopers ... hmm... yeah .... *mind goes off in creative fantasies...* lol... Honestly, couldn't have guessed it was a helmet, but the only thing I see that kind of bothers me a bit is that the shadow over (her) right cheek and eye looks a bit too painted...

    Liz Stern !

Most of these kind of montage things takes time. Sometimes days .... I started out with the original image at 2050 x 3000 pxl in 300 ppi and did a first basic one up to something I thought was good enough to continue working on. Did the retouching, the basic Colour adjustments, the basic...

    Liz Stern !

Thanks Burned Ice ! I take it you mean the lizard skin. Well - I got the Lizadboy (dv8_fx) monumentally drunk and when he passed out I plucked the scales off of him ... :) Not really, no ... Found some images of lizard skin over at Stock.XCHNG and one of them suited well, so I've used a...

    new site nameS question

Another way to increase SE-hits is to keyword each one of your pages on the main site and give them a short description in the meta tags. A bit of work, yes, but iDad will turn up more often in - say - Google. My current web hotel offers this feature as part of their design tool and it has made...

quick video tutorial on how to make a vignette

    >what key is opt and cmd? or is that just for mac? Yes - that's right. Opt (Option) is the Mac's "Alt" and Cmd (Command) is the same as "Ctrl". But on the other hand - Mac also has a Ctrl-key, but that's different from PC...

    Man on the 'moon'?

Find another image of the same kind of environment, scale it down a bit and put it over the visor, use Warp Tool to match perspective, overlay it with color or texture or whatever works and tweek it with blend modes, opacity and what not. Just keep experimenting and adjust the outcome with...

quick video tutorial on how to make a vignette

Those are really good, Hoogleman. Please keep 'em coming !! There's no such thing as having too many video tut's here... Just another quick tip for filling an empty layer if you don't want to use the Paint Bucket: Alt + Backspace / Opt + Del fills the layer with the current Foreground...

    Man on the 'moon'?

That's a good one, Belial. Like it !! As far as I can see you got the lighting right, the guy properly on the ground without any noticable seems or edges, no cutout fringes, halos or any other tell it's a montage, colour match very well and you even got the shadows on the ground correct. And...

    Glad to be here!

You will need a screen recorder such as Camtasia - as I'm using for the video tutorials and online classes - but that means $$$, or the free one: Cam Studio. But then again, you would have to learn how they work and such. Alternatively, you could work on my machine but then I would have to bring...
