    landscape and portrait layout problem due to exif info

    And proper Engilsh speaks better than text message abbreviations, and in this specific case, it`s the orientatin of the image that is the problem, not the image itself. @svnesven ; Wish I could help, but I`ve not encountered the isssue.

    Defaults are default for a reason. If there is no overriding reason to change, don`t. Unless your art has a light source other than upper left, the default will work fine. Multiply for shadows works well because (^ from the link I gave you) As in life, shadows make the underlying color darker...

    If you can`t see a difference, then my guess would be that it`s not the right Mode. If you can show us the image in question, we may be able to give more helpful advise. It IS a visual sport.

    Yes, it`s the check mark that reads Commit current edits. It`s not necessayry to flatten. In fact, leaving the Layers active and savinb the PSD gives you the option of making changes later without rebuilding the entire file.

    Assuming the image is on a Layer by itself, Type CTRL+T and a bounding box will show around the image. Hold CTRL (or CTRL+ALT to transform around the center) and grab a corner point of the bounding box and drag inward or ouward, as the case may be.
