OK, point taken. Thank you for making it readable in 200 point type, lol. From my use which has been a extensive over the years, this is how I have used it and I apologize for having it partly wrong. Never have used it to kearn within words, oddly enough.

Question about removing a text from an image and replacing it with another text...

Re: Question about removing a text from an image and replacing it with another text.. You can always try handwriting the text. Use a tablet to draw it or scan it in. There are a lot of available free fonts to consider as ts white said.

itty bitty typo correction hoogle; a little switcheroo! grey\silver equals the space between words red equals letter\character spacing so the gap between each letter

Illustrator First time using the Pen Tool. First time ever.

Good job Dalton. It's a bit hard to learn and be sure you find out the tips and tricks for using it. So worth it.

Cool, glad you rediscovered the forum. I'm pretty new here. Love the diversity.

    Please Judge my photoshopping

Magazine covers can be a fun challenge. There's one of the PSG challenges from last year that is just that. Here are my thoughts: I agree with C-Man about the text in both of these. It's hard to read in the 2nd and oddly placed in the 1st. In fact the headers in the first are way too tight...

Hey digital, I just googled it. There are a lot of photos of prison cells -- in the public domain too. I guess I googled prison cells, maybe prison bars. Then I masked the bars over the dog.

    Tree Of Solace

I'm sorry dude. No disrespect intended. I think it's pretty cool. Just sayin it is a bit bright but it is also a matter of personal preference. Don't I know. And my little treatment of the picture is 180 in the opposite direction. I certainly wasn't trying to "correct" anything; just having my...

I agree with Paul. Could be more subtle. I played around with it. Used your after on the top layer set to color and decreased opacity. I made you a late-twilight-on-the-border-of-the-graveyard image. I know you're experimenting, but if you make an image you really like, you're going to regret...

    How Does This Logo Look?

May I suggest you lower the opacity on your watermark? It is quite difficult to see your original entry. Tx.

My Layer mask only display as icon, please help?

This is a shape layer. You can rasterize the layer and then put a mask on it, but you can't do anything much else to a shape layer. You can't paint on the mask or on the layer. Rasterize it is my suggestion and if that concerns you, then make a copy of the layer and turn off the visibility...

    Please can somebody help? Please?

It took me awhile to see that smoky blur because the watermark distracted me and I wondered if you were for real, lol. Sorry bout that. Have you tried the contrast adjustment or maybe vibrance and adjust that and/or saturation? Using the adjustment layer mask for fine tuning your effect works...

Oh I see. You see, I have also made the "transparent picture." If you can make that, you can put it on a new background real easy.

How to achieve this lighting effect?

Hey smokey, what's with the belligerent attitude? The poster asked how do you make the light on the edges, not how do you airbrush. You're right that many people look for PS to do everything automatically so to speak and that many users are not artists, at least not in drawing and painting. But...

    Playing with text in photoshop

I know I've seen these before. Especially the grass one. A graphics teacher posted it on PSG for the gurus' help as she had a problem part of the way through it. The text said earth. Fess up Shai. No problem ya know; we love tutorials. And your text looks great, groovy even

Ha ha glad you like it. But I noticed a mistake so if you really want to use it, I'll fix it. On the other hand, if you have a background you like, post it here and I will put your dog on it. The prison bars were more of a joke than something you'd send the dog's gramma.

    The Lighthouse - El Faro

Spooky spoky. I like it. Did you intend for the figures to appear to be part of the lighthouse? Of course you did. It doesn't appear you did anything accidentally.
