    Checking one of Ben Willmore's books I see how the set layer works. This is used to group a bunch of layers together into one set. This way you can work on that set of layers without wading through many other layers in your pallet. The book I have does not address the issue I am asking about.

    Didn't seem to work. I want to keep the picture open to psd so that I can still work with the layers, therefore I don't want to merge or flatten them yet.     Seems I have seen this before somewhere but can't find it. Is there a short cut or fast way of tying the layers together so that you don't have to click on each layer to turn it on or off? If you have 50 layers that's a lot of individual clicking. I hope I am making myself clear. Thanks. George

    OK, here is what I did. I enlarged the resolution of the screen and when the Browse showed up in the Pallet Well I put my cursor on the tab "Browse", held down the left mouse and dragged it out of the well and put it on the screen.     That's the problem. I can't grab the brower as the top of the browser where you crab it is hidden up under the top menu. Where do you find the pallet well? I can't get to the top of browser to open anything. George

    Knowing the age of the movie it may well be a custom job that was hand painted. Not unusual in those days before the computers and fancy fonts. That is just my guess though. GeorgeF73
