    Well, no one's going to do your work for you. However, if you ask patrick real nice, he could probably point you in the right direction. Learning the basic principles of shading would probably be a good start.

    You'll find a lot of redundancey among the tools. If something doesn't work for you, you usually can find a good substitute by poking around. I look forward to seeing your results.

    Here's a quicky take on the stripe. Basically, I started everything as a bunch of rectangles, shaded on one side, highlighted on the other. Then I tranformed/perpespective to make one end smaller than the other. I rotated the canvas then applied distort/ shear. I rotated the canvas back. After...

    Sure. Create a new layer. Set the blend mode to Color and paint in what you need colored. You may wish to read the photoshop manual for more information. If you have ... misplaced ... your manual, look through the help files.

    I agree. The original was shaded by hand but I love what you did, patrick. :} I am having trouble understanding Omnium_Gatherum's question. Does he want to know how to make the blue shape or does he want to know how to make the whole piece?
