    some filters not available?

    it could be that you've gotten out of RBG mode... in CMYK and other modes all the filters aren't available... go to Image -> mode -> RBG and you should be able to do all the filters... thats the only reason that comes to mind...

    Wacom makes a small tablet that isn't too bad... I think it runs about $70-80 though...
