    I did try more contrast on the photo because I thought it needed some as well, but it made it a little too harsh and I just wasn't happy with it so I ended up with this. :)

    I agree, but it's just from the photo being in REALLY bad shape. The photo is literally falling apart in pieces and the front was separating from the back. The curling up front section got dirty and grey from years of sitting around like that which is what's giving the beveled and embossed look.

    Decide whether it's worth taking the person to court over it, or hope that just the threat of a law suite and exposure will scare them honest.

    I like it! I would like the tortoise more if it had head phones on plugged into the amp. I think that would give the tortoise a purpose and tie the whole thing together better.

    Of course to be honest and play devils advocate here, you could be the scammer, running this by us to point out any obvious discrepancies and flim-flammery so as to better perpetrate your scam. :)

    Also forgot to mention that the area on and around the suspect area is suspiciously brighter and devoid of any paper grain.
