    I have used the Bamboo and its quite nice. I personally run an Intuous 3 however. (Bamboo didn't exist when I bought) The pattern here is everyone is using Wacom lol. There are some good working no name branded ones, but you can't beat the quality of a Wacom, its what they do and they do it well.

    Yeah Burned Ice is correct imho. Just put your strip layer over top of the gray layer. Then do a Bevel/Emboss and a small drop shadow. Just go to Layer/layer style and then select Bevel and Emboss and go from there.

    Very weird. Thats why I like messing with so many layers. It not only adds depth, it adds dimension. Everyone will see it different.

    Actually its all from scratch, the map is just a black and white map i found, the colors just fell into place as I layered and layered and layered. Suddenly I had something I loved and hoped others would like too :)

    What is the best Antivirus?

    This is an easy one. Microsoft Security Essentials is the only way to go in my opinion. I switched to it a while back from AVG, and during install it nabbed a virus that AVG had left on my drive. Its got a nice small footprint, won't slow you down and updates discretely. Very nice app.

    Sadly my PS is only 32 bit. I'm running on a 64 bit OS I should move up, but not working so thats out of the question lol.

    Its a sweet plugin and the price is right. I have to warn you though, it will not work on every picture, some just turn into a mess. If we are allowed to post our web sites I can show you some more samples that I have done. Anyway, its a great plugin.

    Yes that really makes the colors pop. To be honest, when I look at a pic that seems a little flat I'll always boost the blacks first to see what effect it has, normally its all an image needs to really come to life.

    I have to say Fractalius is my favorite. Its one effect that i've really not figured out how to do without the plugin. Basically it makes Fractal like images from your pics, pretty sweet. Here is a sample. I love the effect, it looks sweet.
