    original picture . am i doing the removing the color effect correctly ?? after i do this if i try the shadows and heighlights , i don't really get the strong silver and strong red that you get ? did you kind of use the pen tool and or something ?

    @Hoogle , Whoooooaa , how did you get soo much silver in it ?? did you like turn shadows all the way up ?? i mean i am doing this effect through Image > shadows and heighlights , thats what i saw in a tutorial ! :)

    guys , I was just making a section which contains the about us paragraph . i usually see the about us sections are quite boring and the text from a users perspective is quite boring and uninteresting . have a look below : can that be made anymore interesting ? how ? i mean from a UI...

    IamSam thanks :) , tats an easy and neat approach , actually somehow i feel the pictures have a oringish overlay , let me demonstrate that with a picture . I have highly exaggerated the effect though i guess :D

    IamSam , noo :) , actually if u look at the picture there is a dark overly , from the bottom of the picture , it goes from dark black to transparent .. i don't know if i am being clear enough .
