Thanks for posting your mini-tute, Ron, good stuff. I was able to find a number of OS X styles sets at Studio Exchange, particularly the ones by Lorne Kwechansky http://share.studio.adobe.com/axQuickSearchSubmit.asp?txt=mac+os&allprods=2&submit1.x=23&submit1.y=5

    the last claw

I like this one, alot. Any tip's on how you created the 'threaded' cylinders within the plastic chambers? I can think of a number of labor intensive ways, but would like to hear your take. Have you ever given any thought to animating any of your cyber creations?

    son of claw

Ya, that's the stuff I love, organic mechanical. Great job Ron, as always great attention to lighting and texture. Are the perspectives of the jaw "pipes" and the bottom "fangs" out of sync. you think?

    stuff

Well that's good to hear that your not bailing on us. Find an area that is topical and appropriate and you'll find a following. As of now, lasa and I dig what you're up to, so please feel free to use a room for your own use. I'd love to know some of the many stories you may have about this...

    stuff

Ya, I'm with you Moth. It's a weird time of the year, where a lot of little stuff has to get done, after parking the brain for three months. Ron, you're stuff is absolutely terrific, and I do appreciate that you do post here. As I had mentioned in an earlier thread, I'd love to discuss your use...

    Anyone Know This Font?

Why does that make me hungry? [saywhat] Ya, I think Welles is right. It's most likely a one-off, home-cooked font, like most of the freebies.

    Photoshop Trivia Game...

OK, sorry about that, I was on a little mental vacation. ;) Thanks for the poke in the ribs, Welles!! Just to get away from the history of Photoshop theme. Riddle me this... If you have mulitiple text layers, in your document, each with its own font and size, what is the fastest method to...

    Art History Challenge and Fiddle

Krazy kool, Stroker. Here's a tool that I have completely ignored from it's conception (V6, I believe? [stuned] ) This should get me looking at some whacked ways of giving it a try. I see that it's got a lot of diddleability, so I'll need a bit of play time. Really like your first stab.

    Drop and Inner shadows..

Lasa, what I love about you is how much pleasure you get from learning. You're obviously on a good track, and a guy like ronmatt is a terrific mentor. In fact, there are a bunch of questions that I'd like to ask him, esp, about Zbrush.

    Photoshop Trivia Game...

Ya, when I first saw Streamline, I thought it was the cat's ass, and it was until Illy CS2, with Live (which is great BTW). So, is it my volley? I'm a little bit lost.

    Photoshop Trivia Game...

I'm, pretty sure it was V3, in '93 or '94. I'd have to dig out the old manuals (yes, I still have them kickin' around somewhere) to be sure of the year. I was strictly Mac, then so I'm not sure if it was offered in the PC version, as they're used to be differences between the two,if I'm not...
