The 'rules' of the game are simple. I'll ask an obscure Photoshop trivia question. The person who answers gets to ask the next question. Ready? Set? Go! :surprised:

What is the largest type size, in points, you can use in PS 7 and up?

Awright, good stuff to keep the knives sharp. :righton:

Anyway, think it's 1296pt. Only remember because it's one year after I was born. [shhh]

OK,if that's right, from V7 to CS the allowable number of channels per image was increased. From what to what?

I wont't try to cheat... IIRC, what about from 24 to 56?

What version introduced Actions?

I believe you are right, so give us a brain teaser. I remember it being such a big thing, at the time. But as Pierre said no cheating, guys and gals.

Ok, I'm pretty sure about this question. What was the first version that introduced the history pallete?

Well, if nobody else is answering, I remember it as PS 5. That was the first version I used seriously and the History palette was a very big deal.

Do I remember correctly? :]

And your question is? :sneaky:

Sorry! I was away from the computer much of today.

What was the first version of PS which introduced layers? For extra credit, what year was it released?

I'm, pretty sure it was V3, in '93 or '94. I'd have to dig out the old manuals (yes, I still have them kickin' around somewhere) to be sure of the year. I was strictly Mac, then so I'm not sure if it was offered in the PC version, as they're used to be differences between the two,if I'm not mistaken. [stuned]

It was PS3 all right, released in 1994. I was interested in the evolution of PS and the Mac OS so I obtained a series of computers and the old version of Photoshop just to be able to appreciate the evolution. I still have them all and can run any Mac OS version ever released. My most interesting Photoshop score was a big green boxed edition including 3 applications from Adobe released in 1990 called Adobe Illustrator. Within are the manuals and floppies which contain Illustrator 88, Photoshop (the very first verson released as Photoshop with no version number yet) and Adobe Streamline. That was a great eBay find!

Ya, when I first saw Streamline, I thought it was the cat's ass, and it was until Illy CS2, with Live (which is great BTW).

So, is it my volley? I'm a little bit lost.

OK, sorry about that, I was on a little mental vacation. ;) Thanks for the poke in the ribs, Welles!!

Just to get away from the history of Photoshop theme.

Riddle me this...
If you have mulitiple text layers, in your document, each with its own font and size, what is the fastest method to make all the text layers, a common font and size (and colour, for that matter)?
