    yeah i guess the best way would be to try clicking a few sample pictures on some plain backgrounds. Black..white.. etc at different focal lengths. That way you get to know whats the worst case scenario. If its not too bad then small scratches are easy to fix in PS later especially if its fixed...

    Need critique.....

    I wouldve liked to see the photograph be a little bit more wider and see more of the girl to make it more of an 'over the shoulder shot' but then again thats not something you can do in photoshop :) But I like the range of tones you have in the image. Its very well exposed for the most part.

    I agree with Dataflow. It will be difficult to make that image look like that. You can get some of those colors or tones but probably not in a similar way since the range and tones of this image is completely different. However an HDR approach should give you something a bit like this possibly.
