    Alb68 I'll darken the hood good point there thanks Iamsam the shadow at sundown would be longer and since the sun is behind I kept the shadow in front I couldn't justify the shadow on the left of the car when the sun was directly below

    ive done some editing using ACR and a plugin called VIVEZA this is my result i just realised and believe that the problem for the grain effect could be cause these are shot handheld at 2800ISO

    i tried to follow the youtube tut but the car becomes very grainy the end result is more of a HDR look i tried the color efex pro filter and the PS method i dont have topaz but in both cases it looks the same too much grain

    this is what i have come up with ill copy the cracks layer 2 more times and distort it to match the contour of the road i use outer glow and inner glow in layer style to give a red color to the cracks but im not getting the right effect
