    Oh, but it depends.. I usually just use the levels slider to the left to make the lines darker, and the right one to make the background whiter, it´s usually enough for me, but maybe you need to do the whole thing.

    I have been doing this quite a bit lately, scanning in handrawn sketches and things, and the levels slider is really quick and does a good job cleaning them up. :)

    This has happened to me sometimes when I put a mask on a smart object, if I don´t rasterize it and throw the mask away, the slightest nudge will move it and show part of what was behind it. I don´t know if this is what you have done, but it looks like it. :)

    I just did this very quickly with a random image and and a random light leak. You can most likely find one that is more like the one you want, but I just pulled one out. After you put it over your picture, then just play around with the blending modes until you find something you like. :)
