Copying multiple images from PS to Illustrator.

Hi, I have a guitar chord chart. A collection of chords (5 x 5 grid) that I've copied and pasted into PS. I would like to make multiple selections, selecting each chord individually and simultaneously. I do know that this is possible using the Marquee tool plus holding Shift. So I would...

Illustrator Specs required for uploading content to Comixology.

Hi folks, I could use some help in understanding what the required specs mean. Actually, the best help would be letting me know how to adjust specs rather than long written explanations and definitions of terms. The story: I've written a comic book. The illustrations were done in...

Suggestions on how to alter this photograph.

Hi folks, Which tools would you use to get rid of that bright lettering above the subjects head, and so that it looks natural not patchy? Feel free to do it yourself if you want to, and let me know how you did it, but I'd rather hear suggestions and hints pointing me in the right direction...

Website for uploading my own comic book.

Hi folks, What is a good FREE website so I can upload all the panels I've created for a comic book, and so that the viewer just has to click on an arrow to go from frame to frame in order to read it. Yes, I promise to post a link to the comic book when I am done. : ) Thanks! OFC

    CYMK vs RGB

Hi folks, I eventually want to physically print a comic book. The printer across the street basically said that commercial printing mean CMYK colors. So, should I simply create and save my work in CMYK, or use RGB and then convert, assuming that the colors translate perfectly each time...

    iPod Mini ad.

Working on some print ads in Photoshop. Found a great site that leads you through print ads on a step by step basis. I was hoping they were real ads explained by real pros, but I don't think so. If anyone knows of a site like that though, please let me know...

The swirlies and logo were done entirely in ILLY. Then put into Photoshop with the hand. I know I could make it better, but this is as much as I'm willing to put into it right now.

Illustrator Proportional resize. Involves maybe a match calculation?

Hi folks, Sorry, it should say "math calculation" in the heading. I want the red circle 1/3rd the size of the black. And I want the white 1/3rd the size of the red. Or I can do it backwards and say I want the red 2/3rd bigger than the white, and the black 2/3rds bigger than the red (is that...

Illustrator Extending a line of type.

I choose the Type on a Path , or Vertical Type on a Path tool, and I start to type. All fine. Now, I've typed too much and the "+" sign appears in a little box telling me I have too much text for the line itself. I want to extend the line to add more text, in other words, I want more space...

Illustrator Illustrator CS4. Can't fill a compound shape!

Hi folks, I'm reading this online tutorial. http://ndesign-studio.com/tutorials/tracing-photoAnd it says to trace over a photo. The first trace is called the base path. In this lesson it calls to trace a face, but I decided on a less complex approach and "traced" a simple circle with my pen...
