    Just an average selfie

Hey everyone, it's been a long time since I posted on here so I wanted to get back to posting more frequently. Here's a recent manipulation I just finished. I was going for a dispersion effect. CC always welcome!

    Waterfall Fairytale

So I softened the light rays from the book, softened the tree stump and added the doves. I originally had them in but wasnt sure if I wanted to keep them, so I figure I'd look for feedback here.

    Tree in Space

Thanks everyone. I agree, the top flare I could have done without now that I look at it. Chrisdesign, I actually already did this fix. Unfortunately I posted the wrong picture haha. The one I posted was my pre-finished product.

    Tree in Space

I was just learning some more techniques and followed an online tutorial, but added a few elements to make it my own. It's pretty much an abstract piece that the title describes what it is. Would maybe make a cool inspirational poster. Feedback always welcome.

    Mushroom Village

Thank you for the input inkpad.t. it's actually more of an evening shot. What I love about this piece is it's abstract and in a fantasy world so anything goes. The light source is more of a faint sun, not the moon (even though there's a big star field in the sky). I see what you're saying about...

    Running Out of Time

I lied, this was shot at 45mm. For some reason I though I was zoomed all the way out. The lens used was a Canon 24-105. But I made some adjustments as requested. Here's the new version.

    Running Out of Time

Dalkarls, the model was shot with a Canon 5D MKII full frame camera at 24mm. She was sitting on a stool so her proportions are correct. There actually is a very faint hint of yellow on her face, but I probably should have made it a bit more noticeable. As for the clock, the shape of it is almost...

    Running Out of Time

ibclare, glad I cleared it up for ya. The black tears is actually her mascara running. Those were not photoshopped in. We did the wet look (hair, makeup) to go with a more grungy tattered look. And thank you for the compliment!

Here's the original image cropped and enlarged for ya.

    3d Bokeh Logo

Thanks for the feedback guys. I do more manipulations then logos, so I'm still working on improving those. As far as the backwards D, I use it to make the design more symmetrical. Since a backwards D doesn't resemble any other letter in the alphabet I feel that I can get away with it. Keeping...

    Running Out of Time

ibclare, thanks for the input. The left side of her face, it's actually her letting smoke slowly pour out of her mouth. Not sure if thats the element you were talking about.

    Running Out of Time

Thank you for the feedback everyone. ALB68, with the piece being titled Running Out of Time, it's an anti-smoking theme. I was a smoker for 10 years and I quit about a year ago. My gf is still a smoker and I can see the difference between our health. Everyone knows smoking is a killer, and...
