3D 3d Show Off Room II

Alistair i just love playing with 3D programms.... :D

so i'll give this a try and maybe more people wants to play... ;)

This one i did in Vue and DAZ D|S.

Nikkie

hey, really fun stuff you guys are doing here... :D

Nikki, nice work and interplaying here... :righton:

Allister... good to see you still with 3D... that a mean looking space ship... my only advice, if you would take it, is...

think boxy when you are designing these objects... I have no time right now to go into this further, I am just out the door to work right now, but I will be back and perhaps touch on this a tad more later on... basically you have a wonderful imagination but are working too hard when ya could be letting the computer do said hard work...

well ok, here's one of the corridor's, in a space station on your planet, where Alister is going to dock his ship at... :)

A buddy of mine taught me the other night how to build this kind of stuff very very easily... modeled in Wings3d (of course), hypernurbed, textured and rendered in C4D v 8.5, touched up in a 2d editor... still requires quite a bit of work and lighting fx, but what the heck... sure, I will play in this fun and folly, thanx for the invite Nikkie :D

gidge you're welcome !! ;)

Good job you've done there :righton:
Perhaps one of my characters would fit in there ;)

Nikkie

haha, right on Nikkie... and heeeeellllooooo Cyber VikY ;) er, and gang... lol... hehe this is great stuff, I love the pose of CV, as well the direction the little bot is heading, like on a mission ... right on

here's a new update to this corridor... changed the hull shape some, still needs work, but yea, before I just had some rectangles placed together sort of, but now I am really gonna go all out and mold this baby into a real boafide spacestation, all modeled proper like... so yea, some modifications are still in order, and some more corridors with some different stuff, some open areas, some ports and hatches, maybe the cieling changed to skylights for star gazing, a center hub yet to be modeled... etc... stay tuned, and in the mean time, yea, have fun playing around with any WIP's posted... great fun and folly :righton:

Gidge Thanks :D hehe i just knew you would like Vicky ;)

Great work you've done there i can't wait to see the rest cause this
kind of stuff can compete with all the brokers at Rendo and DAZ !!
:righton: :righton:

Nikkie

haha, glad you are having fun Nikkie :D

I am but a noob at this stuff eh, probably always will be... so thanks for the nice compliments, but seriously, I can barely compete with my youngest son who is all of 10 yrs young, and though is still learning the finer art of subd and looping, is way past me for time put in :)

My online mentor is the one who gets all the credit for my feeble attempts... this guys rocks, and showed me more in but a couple of hours, than I "saw" in a couple of years :D

But heck yea, we will model some more, and you keep filling in the blanks with your fine work and this shall be great fun :)

Maybe we should figure out a comic storyline or something... you game?

Kids have been driving me absolutely nuts this past week. To help releave the stress, I grabbed a Poser model and began to Borgify him.

Greebling rocks, but can be such a pain. You eventually reach the point to where you say, "Screw it! Let clipping take care of it." Then you just start tossing primitives around with no real fore-thought.

And there you have it.

He looks like he has been indeed Borgafied, Stroker... very cool :)

Ha ha, our kids have been unusualy antsy this week as well... hmmm, wonder what gives?
