8.5 x 11" image for MS Word as background

Hi Folks,
Sounds like a very basic question but here is what I am struggling with.

I have tried to make a jpeg out of PS to use as a background image in MS Word but it seems I am not being able
to get the precise size most probably because of resolution settings in PS.

It seems that MS Word is tiling it across width and height, whereas I just want to have a 100% edge to edge setting for my BG image inside MS Word.

Any help with this?

You have a Word issue not a Photoshop issue.
When you select your image check the "Lock Picture Aspect Ratio" box, that may help.

If it's grayed out you may need a Microsoft or Word forum to figure out why.
