Greetings people!

I´m a swedish photoshop-newbie who just recently have gotten into using Photoshop and I´ve joined this forum to improve my own skills and to get inspiration for future projects.

In this thread I would also like to ask for some help since I´m doing a design for a simple yet professional business logotype for a weight-loss company I´m trying to get going. The products we sell are "Slankas" VLCD milkshakek & soupes along with personal coaching to achive the best and most sustainable weightloss results.

Ive tried to make a sketch for the logo->

I would be very glad if you could give your opinion on it or perhaps make your own design on it to make it better?

Thanks for your time!

Its ok for a simple design , only thing I dont like is the white line cutting off the glasses near the bottom right :)

the idea is good but I agree the glass cutting off looks bad also the lettering needs a lot of tidy up work mainly the a at the end with the tail

Thanks for the input. Iv´e changed the design a little bit in this new sketch:

What do you think?:cool2:

Hoggleman : I can´t change the "Slanka" text since its part of the company logo for the products I sell.
I can however change the "Landskrona" font if you have any suggestions?

Not to confuse or switch things up on you, but I strongly suggest using Illustrator for logo design. 99% of companies want vector logos (.ai, .eps) so they can easily manipulate size without loss of quality during printing/sizing...from billboards to having the logo printed on a ball point pen. That way you don't have to redraw it each time you put it on something. I would also suggest drawing the drink glasses in an abstract way rather than using a photo, but that's just me - the photo may not look right when printed (and you have scaling limitations). The new version you did is an improvement though, for sure. I would also look into different colors for the oval and maybe background colors other than white to make it come together more. Just my two cents :0)
