Specific Add locomotive smoke

Does anyone want to attempt to add some smoke to this image of a model locomotive? The second photo is only a suggestion of what it could look like, I am open to any and all artistic attempts by all skill levels. If you also feel like replacing the dark fascia along the bottom of the photo, be my guest.
