Thank you vafann, kind words indeed. i like this one myself, it all works i think.
it is made up of three separate images and about three hours of pen work and layers with blurs and colour changes, oh and my new friend the smudge tool.

These are the images i used, that and a lot of layers with varying colour/light and blur added in.
All images blended as one (hopefully), i keep trying to get this deep luster to my work, with a shine, i hope it shows through?
Sorry i missed a image out theres a water droplet transparency in blue on there also.

Now you really got the hang of it, Belial. Perfect extraction and compositing. The flow of it is just SO spot on.
To me this speaks "End of Days" and there's drama, expression and energy combined and it makes me feel both disturbed and intrigued - and that's a good thing ...

I'll give this a definite 5 ... oh .. right... we can't rate images here ...

And congrats to having made friends with the Smudge Tool. Really useful for extractions of hair, fur and - feathers ..

I'll give Cindy a shout. I know she's busy with a new project but she really must see this one !!

[ ps: I take it you put the text on to protect your and others copyright ... ? ... and have you tried it with the fangs back ? Don't know if it will do anything for the image but - just a thought .. ]

Haha I think You have explained what didnt make sense to me am I right in thinking you have used the smudge tool to sharpen up the edges and pertrude some spikey hair from the wings it was confusing me but now I can see it is fake well done good technique

I think everything looks great except the text, its a little corny font-wise. Also the overall pic seems to be out of focus a little. But the blending seems to be spot on.
