Animated Banner Question

I want to make a banner that includes a picture on the left and text to the right. I want to animate different texts and keep the picture to the left. I get a layer of the picture and different layers of text but can not figure how to keep the picture on the banner. I am using PS10

just keep your picture as the bottom layer and then put your text layers above it.
