Illustrator Anyone know the keyboard shortcut (no mousing!) to rename a layer in ILL?

I've looked through the Edit Keyboard Shortcuts area in ILL but I can't seem to locate it.

Anyone know?

There isn't one that I know of. I suppose the reason is that all you have to do is double click the layer, what could be any shorter than that?

Absolutely true. I just like shortcuts, after a while the mouse, or pen in my case, gets a bit labor intensive (Awwwww....!)

Is there a way to create it? I did it in Photoshop once, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it in ILL from scratch. Just working with what is already in the menu.

You would have to use your mouse or pen to select the layer before renaming it anyway, so a quick double click wouldn't be that much more labour surely.

When starting a layer, you could just type ctrl+alt+l so you can name it straight away.
