As I am still learning, I like to make things for myself but which could be useful later. I made a Poster type image, but for the life of me, I can't seem get anything to work in the BG.

The bag was made in Ai, then exported to Ps to be jazzed up & made into a smart object. The text is just plain text as I didn't want to over do it.

There is a slight texture thing going on in the BG, but it needs something, and my brain just isn't getting it (I see the irony, I appear to not have it "in the bag" this time). Any inspiration or suggestions would be awesome. :)

I would say bring the bag lower to the bottom of the image and make it look like it's resting on the floor instead of floating in the air, then maybe a back ground will come to you?

Spinning off this idea, maybe add a reflection to the ground to, for the bag and bottom text?

I did something with color chips spewing out of something I can't remember what it was but how about having color chips spewing out of that bag, as if it's overflowing with ideas, that would look cool

Just a thought, while "We got" is not necessarily incorrect and is commonly used in slang, "We have" is more formal.

For the background, sometimes a simple gradient from the bottom works as to imply a surface. This could look nice with iPops suggestion in post #3.

I really like the idea of a black and white theme with some form of color coming from the bag! Great ideas guys!

edit: Since there is already a reflected image in the logo on the bag, reflecting the bag may look overdone.....I don't know for sure without seeing it.

You are right about the grammar. Either "We have it" or "We've got it" would be more grammatically correct. I'd probably plump for the 2nd one, so I may make that change also.

Great idea, one thing that's bugging me is the little alien guy you use, the head portion is not as 'skewed' as the body is, to the text line.

I can kinda see what you mean Paul. It's all one Smart object, so the skew should be uniform with the SPWA. Not sure how to change that unless I add it separately.

I implemented some changes, given the suggestions. I like it more than the original, but, still a work in progress. Experience is certainly highlighting my weakness's.

I'm not grooving on the color "splash" as it it right now, but the other changes really add to bring the image together. As for the experience highlighting your weaknesses, that is a way for you to exploit those weaknesses and turn them into strengths. Keep up the good work!

To make your design background more delightful add a good gradient style to it with suitable colors and a little bit pattern also adds some shine.
