Hi,

I couldn't use the crop tool: when I want to crop any area, the big black-colored area occures and preventing me to see what I want to crop... Before, with my photoshop, I didn't have a such trouble, I attached a print-screen and it explains more accurate...

What are your Hardware Specs ? did you try disabling GPU options in Preferences ?

1. GPU options in Preferences
I option "Enable OpenGL Drawing" was checked, I unchecked (disabled) it and hit OK button, then I tried to crop but problem remains... Then look into Advanced Settings (button below the option Enable OpenGL Drawing) and found just one Mode option enabled: "Basic". Other options are not available: "Normal" and "Advanced" (they grey-colored and I can't select them)...

2. Hardware Specs of my computer
CPU: Intel Core2Duo 2.66 GHz
RAM: 4 GB
OS SYSTEM: x64
Win 7 SP1
VCARD: Radeon X1650
Internal DAC(400MHz)
2301 MB
screen: 1680x1050 (32 bit) (60Hz)
driver: WDDM 1.0 v.8.593.100.0

Did you try unchecking "use graphic processor" option ? and then restarting photoshop ?

I couldn't find the section named "use graphic processor"... Where it's placed? in my Preferences of Photoshop and dxdiag of system I couldn't find it...

I was talking about this, I wonder why this option is different on your pc.. are you using PS CS6 extended ?

Other options are not available: "Normal" and "Advanced" (they grey-colored and I can't select them)...

You have to recheck Enable OpenGL option or the advanced choice will remain greyed out.

I can't help you much with options. I only know fairly simple ones. Have you tried reset tool? You may need to reset your preferences as this is really odd behaviour. Take a look at this link: http://www.photoshopgurus.com/forum...hings-just-arent-working-right.html#post78696

Maybe this will help.

My performance window in CS5 doesn't read the smae as yours OJ. I have to take care of something, then I'll post a screenshot.

Thank you guru from Lahore :)
I disable the section (I'm using the PS CS5 Extended) and restarted the PS then it worked ))). Before, when I did at first time, I didn't restart the PS, just hit OK button and I thought that it works, but, now, I understand, that PS must be restarted after such changes...
Thank you, you helped me and my day is going on to be rich of results ...
