Specific Blending background

There was something in the distant background behind the bird that caused the peach colored stripe right behind the bird. I find this very distracting. Is there any way to make that area of the background match the green of the rest of the background? Thanks!

Great shot. Here is my try at matching the colors. I used my own judgment on how much to take out, but it can be easily changed if you prefer something different.
