Body color a car bodykits

Please help what are the step to copy the color of a car and paint it. Im editing a car and add bodykits now im having problem in puting colors on the bodykits. I just want to look like original color. thanks

as long as the body kit is not black, white or a shade of grey then it is really just a case of creating a new layer and painting in the colour you wish above the body kit and select the layer blending mode to colour if it is not exactly right then select the colour layer and go to image> adjustment>hue saturation and play with the sliders to get desired effect. If the colour underneath is still coming through then check the colourize box in hue saturation
