Specific Book cover - cigarette filter

Hello everyone,

i want the red part of the cigarette to be somehow golden metallic - I tried it with a gradient filter with 3 colors (0%, 50% and 100%) with following colors:
0% = 2d1203
50% = c07e00
100% = f7e4a3

But I didnt get it work - i hope someone of you can do it for me. It shall be a book cover of my grandfather! Title is: the golden Filter.
I added the original in the zip file.

I hope u can do it for me - i have to add some golden text later in PS.

I was just able to do the white edges of the cigarrette in a gold.. damn...

What if you just dropped in a metallic texture background? Maybe a little smoke...okay, too creative...
